Last night we had the absolute pleasure of previewing Marisella, the stunning new restaurant concept at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, and let me just say, it’s everything coastal Italian dreams are made of.
The setting alone is worth the visit. Tucked along the coastline with soft lighting, open-air elegance, and breezy Mediterranean charm, Marisella is effortlessly beautiful. It feels like slipping away to the Amalfi Coast… Without leaving Santa Barbara.
As for the food? Let’s just say seafood lovers are in for a treat. Every bite we tried was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. From delicate crudos to rich, comforting pastas. The flavors are coastal Italian through and through, with a modern twist that still feels soulful. And the cocktails? Crisp, citrusy, and dangerously easy to sip (looking at you, limoncello spritz).
Marisella officially opens on the 26th, and it’s definitely worth adding to your summer dining list. Whether you're in the mood for a sunset dinner or a special night out with friends, this spot delivers on ambiance, flavor, and that little something extra.
